Promotional Work for the film Feel the Noise.
Student Organizations: This film has a Latin Dance and Hip-Hop theme surrounding the story, mainly because it was produced by Jennifer Lopez. I decided to target student organizations or groups that were based on similar interests.
The student organizations that I worked with agreed to host special events that encompassed a theme similar to the theme of the film, like a Latin dance night for example. Members of the organization put up flyers all around campus stating that attendees would be entered into a drawing to receive tickets to the film. Mini-poster advertisements for the film were also placed around campus.
Newspapers: I was able to convince several campus newspapers to include an article in their paper about Latin American Month. The article promoted the film by including a synopsis, an official release date, and pictures of the film.
Radio Stations: Various college radio stations in the Atlanta area agreed to host a Jennifer Lopez hour on the air. During this promotional radio spot for the film the station played some of Jennifer Lopez’s popular songs and asked trivia questions in which contestants received free tickets and promotional merchandise upon giving the correct answer(s).
